About the event
Social connection is one of the strongest predictors of participation, well-being, and long-term engagement in movement programs. Join David Leventhal, Gill Erskine, and Andrew Telfer for a conversation about how movement experiences can reduce isolation, strengthen community, and help people feel seen, valued, and connected. Together, we'll explore practical strategies for facilitating interaction, fostering belonging in group settings, and creating environments where people return not just for the activity—but for the relationships.

David Leventhal is a dancer, teaching artist, and Program Director of Dance for PD® at the Mark Morris Dance Group. A founding teacher of the internationally recognized program, he has helped bring dance-based community and movement experiences to people with Parkinson's in more than 400 communities across 30 countries.
