About
Hi! I'm Erin Eleu, founder of AGEnts of Movement. I'm an educator and advocate for active aging. I'm dedicated to reshaping how we think about movement across the lifespan.
My passion for this work is rooted in my professional journey as an exercise physiologist and an account manager for the SilverSneakers fitness program. Those experiences allowed me to develop an appreciation and love for serving older adults. They shaped my perspective on how we design physical activity offerings and provide an opportunity for meaningful engagement.
My vision is to equip movement professionals with the tools, language, and mindset to create experiences that foster strength, confidence, and connection-while actively challenging ageism around physical activity.
I've had the opportunity to present for leading organizations and contribute to the literature that is defining the future of active aging:
-
Presentations: International Council on Active Aging, Medical Fitness Association, ACE Fitness, and Wisconsin Institute of Healthy Aging
-
Publications: Featured in the American Society on Aging Generations, the Journal on Active Aging, and Next Avenue.
-
Recognition: Recipient of the Mather Institute's 2025 Promising Practices Award, recognizing innovative contributions to the aging field.
Through AGEnts of Movement, I'm building a growing network and resource hub for professionals committed to keeping older adults physically active and socially connected.
